Hylia Macrocosmica at Giant Robot
March 17, 2012I have a piece in Giant Robot’s “Diversions” exhibition, currently on display at GR2. It’s called “Hylia Macrocosmica”, and it was inspired by the work of Jacob Boehme and others who created mystical, alchemical diagrams in the 1600s. At almost 20″ square, it’s one of the largest pieces I’ve done.

Dude! How has nobody commented on this?! This has to be one of my favorite things you’ve made. I’m a huge fan and you are definitely an inspiration to me. I just recently started making pixel art and I’m really excited to continue.
Hey George! Glad you like this piece. This was one of those works I put a ton of effort into, but wasn’t really sure if I liked the finish. Didn’t sell very well, but it was a larger more expensive piece, so maybe that was part of it. Anyway, thanks for the kind words!
